So ... how did it all happen?
I had almost given up on watching Arashi because the tickets were completely out of my budget ... Despite losing almost all hopes of watching them, I made uchiwas which cost of several hours of sleep ... and only completed them on my first day in Japan, only sleeping at 4am in the morning!
9/3 was my only chance because I had to catch a flight to Osaka on the 4th for SMAP's concert on the 5th. Even though I had given myself a budget, standing outside the ticket shop was a different thing altogether! And maybe it was fate that we met a Taiwanese fan there who was describing how awesome the atmosphere was at her show ... And there I was, with the tickets right in front of me, good seating and only just a few hours away from the concert. Plus the thought of the effort I put into making my uchiwa which Ohno might never see ...... I gave into temptation.
So 4 hours before the show started, we got our tickets and off we went to Kokuritsu. It was quite painful to see fans lined up all the way from the station to Kokuritsu holding up signboards for tickets. Even though I got myself a ticket, I couldn't bring myself to be all smiley about it ...
When the introductory video started playing, it felt soooo surreal watching it with my own eyes ... I remember reminding myself that I am watching the real thing, not the DVD! I hate how my mind has only fuzzy bits and pieces of the concert but movin'on will forever remain special to me because it left such a deep impression on me as the opening song. Listening to it now never fails to give me goosebumps!
Choosing the first row of stands might have been a mistake because when the moving stage passed, I couldn't really see the boys unless they stood near the edge! But I got to see all the members up close ...... except for my dearest Riidaa. T_T
Although Riidaa didn't see my uchiwa eventually, I (or I'd like to believe) got fanservice from Nino! I couldn't even remember which song it was, but he got on the cart and was heading straight towards my section ... It might be my wishful thinking, but I'd like to believe he saw my "シンガポールから" uchiwa and decided to be kind and wave to me. XD
Some bits about the members:
Sho-kun was really shiny (also told to me by a friend who had been to AAA in Taipei 2008) and handsome! T.A.B.O.O was really kakkoii!
Aiba-chan was really the same Aiba-chan I see on TV, really energetic and always jumping around! You can't help but smile looking at Aiba-chan! Magical Song was my least favourite solo but I really enjoyed the live performance of it! "It's a magical song YEAH~" XD And I remember staring at his black tights when he was jumping around on the moving stage during Fight Song. XD
Jun was really charming and yasashii ... He looks at each and everyone of the audience earnestly ... Not to mention he was in the curry puff hairstyle which I LOVE!
Riidaa ... even though I couldn't really see him upclose at all (because he stood in the middle of the moving stage when it passed me by), even though he was giving fanservice to so many other fans ... I am hooked! Kaibutsu-kun was absolutely adorable and he made me laugh so much! Needless to say, his singing was PERFECT.
Nino ... Thank you for your fanservice! XD
I still think it's a ridiculous sum of money, but I didn't regret any bit.
行って本当によかった。
また行きたい! XD
I was surprised how LIVE they sounded!
And I would say they were flawless!
Being a sucker for live raw voices, of course I ripped it! :D

I really hate to "resurface" (although I've always been lurking around) when I'm asking for help here but just thought I'd try my luck ...
Would any kind souls have any Kokuritsu (3rd Sep) tickets to spare?
Please PM me or email me at cccrush[at]gmail.com ... I will be eternally grateful! T^T
